When I last saw Susie and JP, it was freezing. I had a camera, they ditched their coats, and we had fun all over Old Town shooting their engagement session. It was so cold, though, that I really wanted to give them another opportunity to do their engagement session in warmer weather! But I also wanted to give them some new places… here are my favorites from their second engagement session!

I had a 16×20 canvas printed for Megan and Ciara and wanted to drop it off yesterday, so of course I brought my camera for a short photo session :) Alexis is nearly three weeks old and is absolutely adorable.

I’ve been so excited to post this maternity session because it’s of two gorgeous people in one of the most gorgeous area locations - Old Town Alexandria. I just can’t get enough of that place - as the seasons change more new spots open up and I just fall in love with it all over again. But these women brought a calm, beautiful radiance to the location and it was so easy to take their picture!
I did a headshot session for Hewsan a few weeks ago. As an up-and-coming actor, he wanted to capture a range of expressions, and these are my favorites.
I can’t even begin to describe how hard it was to narrow down images to post on the blog from the over 800 birth photographs I took. I can’t wait to see how the gallery-wrap 16×20 canvas we had printed turns out, too. In the meantime, here are my favorite photos from the morning of Alexis’ birth.
