Laura and Akins were kind enough to reschedule their outdoor engagement photography session from two weekends ago, when the rain was definitely going to put a damper on our fun. I’d never met them before and I’m not their wedding photographer, so I had no idea what they were going to be like - this session ended up a total blast for both Brad and I as we got to better know these two in Alexandria, VA.
They were a little camera-shy at first, but they got some great laughs out of the way in the beginning, which of course made for great pictures:

You can just sense from how they interact how incredibly in love they are. It’s a quiet, romantic kind of interaction.
Last but not least, this is my favorite. You just CAN’T BEAT the lighting at this hour.
