Music to work to - Part III - Artists

I polled all sorts of working professionals to find out what music they like to listen to while working! Hopefully this will inspire you to check out some new tunes during your workday :)

Artists:

I hook up my ipod and “zone out” on coding. Michael Franks has been at the top of the list lately. He’s mellow enough to pull me into my own little coding world. Others that assist are Blue Note plays Prince, Blue Note plays Sting, anything by Sting, Steely Dan. And finally on those horrendous days when it seems there is just no time…I go straight to Amy Winehouse, Esthero, and Portishead. - Crysta Greenfield, Director of Operations/Web Designer

I’m devoted to Air when I’m working. Also, Zero 7, this great mix CD by DJ Miguel Migs called “Nude Tempo One”, Frou Frou, Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, and Hooverphonic… and I discovered this great female artist during this last season of “So You Think You Can Dance,” who’s name is Hayley Westernra (she’s from New Zealand, and she’s also sung with the Irish group Celtic Woman). - Shawn Bryan, Project Manager/Web Developer/Marketing Guru/Graphic Artist
