Ben and Jenn had their monogram designed by Creative Montage a little while ago. Their colors are dark blue and orange, so after I took their engagement portraits, I knew that I had to hunt down some nontraditional packaging in these colors. It proved to be difficult, however - no one seemed to make a pattern that used both of the colors, so I had to make it myself!
I took parachute ribbon (yes, made from real parachutes) in the two colors - one wide one in navy and one thinner one in orange - and using my favorite adhesive, Zips, I adhered them to create a layered ribbon. I bought lots of it so I can continue the theme on their print and album packaging after their wedding :) I think it came out nicely:
I always ask the client to send me along their monogram files so I can use their custom-designed monogram in everything I create for them! Here, I used it on the address label:
